A student who made threats on social media last Tuesday night targeting Dominion High was charged Wednesday, according to the LCSO.

STERLING, VA — A student who made threats on social media last Tuesday night targeting Dominion High School, 21326 Augusta Drive, was charged Wednesday with making threats by writing or electronic messages to kill or do harm, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Last week, police investigated and found the threats not to be legitimate but nonetheless continued their investigation.
The student who made the social media posts is 16. He's being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center. Police searched the student's home and found firearms that belonged to a relative. The guns were removed from the home. Police investigated in conjunction with Loudoun County Public Schools.
