What an amazing week we had! It was a bit sketchy at first with that last blast of snow and I do mean LAST! Once we got back into our normal routine, our classrooms were in full swing. Everyone enjoyed our Dr. Seusss photo booth (slidehow to come) and wacky days of hats, costumes, and stories. The Cat in the Hat and Dr. Seuss were alive in each and every classroom.
We are thrilled at the prospect of warmer weather and are furiously doing our "Happy Spring Dance".
Early Bird registration has come to a close and we are glad to announce that we have over 75% of our families already enrolled for next school year! Amazing. Thanks to everyone for helping us reach that goal.
Our multi-cultural day is coming up on Saturday, March 29th from 10-2pm. We would like to celebrate our diversity.
Here is what to look forward to next week:
Monday, March 10th: * Mardi Gras Parade: wear geen, purple, and gold to school. Rock the beads!
*Tutu's and Tiaras will be hosting a dance demo class on Monday for anyone who is interested at 3:30 on Monday.
Wednesday, March 12th: 3rd Grade Reading buddies come to read to our Pre-K classroom. These students are coming from our Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in Sterling Virginia. My daughter will be one of them. ;)
