Driver Assaulted by Cake in Ashburn: Police

A driver was leaving a parking garage Saturday night when a cake came sailing down from above, says the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA — Well now, this one certainly takes the cake. Rather, it took a cake. Regardless, the crime report Monday from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office involves cake. It also involves someone who apparently had the mindset of "Let them eat cake."

Around 6 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 42300 block of Regal Wood Drive. That's where they found a driver who had quite the story. Namely, as the driver was leaving a parking garage, a cake came sailing down from above and landed on the vehicle.
