The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday on southbound Route 28 near Sterling Boulevard. Investigators said Padilla Espinosa was driving a black Nissan Altima when he crashed into a semi-truck. The collision caused the truck to flip and catch fire.

Padilla Espinosa also crashed into a Toyota Prius, authorities said.
