Drunk Driver Kills Pedestrian In Loudoun County: Police

ASHBURN, VA — A pedestrian was killed Sunday morning after being hit by a drunk driver headed south on Loudoun County Parkway near Dulles West Boulevard, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Muhummad S. Khalid, 66, of Aldie, died at the scene.

The driver, Opoku Atuahene, 38, of Manassas, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence. He remained at the accident scene, and a witness contacted police. The crash happened shortly after 7:30 a.m.
