Drunk Man Drives Onto Golf Course In Sterling: Police

STERLING, VA—A drunk Fredericksburg man drove onto a golf course, nearly hit several people and then crashed into a wood bridge Wednesday night, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Christopher L. Luedtke, 33, was charged with DWI (second in 10 years) and possession of marijuana.

Around 8:30 p.m., police responded to the 1757 Golf Club at 45120 Waxpool Road for a report of an intoxicated driver. Upon arrival, they saw Luedtke driving on the western part of the golf course. That's when the vehicle crashed into the wood bridge, after which Luedtke was arrested.
