Drunk Man Tries Stopping Traffic In Ashburn: Police UPDATED

UPDATE: A drunk man was arrested Sunday after trying to stop vehicles on an Ashburn Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA—A drunk man was arrested Sunday night after trying to stop vehicles in the area of Exchange Street and Brimfield Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Christopher Z. Wilmouth, 38, of Auburn, was charged with public intoxication.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m., police spotted a man in the road attempting to stop vehicles. He was detained, and authorities determined he was intoxicated. No word on his motive for trying to stop traffic.
