Drunk Nearly Mows Down Security Guard In Ashburn: Police

A drunk man who nearly mowed down a security guard with his vehicle Sunday in Ashburn was arrested: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA — A man who nearly mowed down a security guard with his vehicle early Sunday morning in the 44600 block of Provincetown Drive has been arrested. Alan M. Miller, 27, of Ashburn, was charged with DWI, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Shortly after 2 a.m., police responded to the scene for a report of a security guard in need of assistance. That's when they saw the guard have to jump out of the path of the vehicle to avoid being hit. Police immediately stopped the vehicle and arrested Miller.
