Eagle Ridge Middle School Presents Disney’s ‘Peter Pan, Jr.’

Show Runs Friday, April 6th, 13th at 7 PM and Saturday, April 7, 14th at 2 and 7 PM

Ashburn, VA - Eagle Ridge Middle School PTA will present “Peter Pan, Jr.” on Friday, April 6 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 7th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Friday, April 13th at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 14th, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7/adults and $5/students and teachers or in advance online at https://www.lcps.org/domain/15474.

Based on the Disney film and J.M. Barrie’s enchanting play, Disney’s Peter Pan JR. is a modern version of the timeless tale about a boy who wouldn’t grow up. The score includes new arrangements of classic Disney songs and a story featuring one rousing adventure after another.

Peter Pan enters a world where Wendy Darling, who loves to tell
stories to her brothers, Michael and John, must move out of the nursery. Peter visits the children and whisks them
away to Neverland where they meet the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the
infamous pirate, Captain Hook! When
Wendy is taken captive by the dreaded captain, it’s Peter to the rescue, yet
Hook has menacing plans. Who will prevail!?

The Eagle Ridge production of the show
closely follows the movie version. The
show features 43 crew students who run the full production, from the technical
aspects of set creation, lighting and sound to a cast of 95 students performing
in festive costume.

"Peter Pan and the characters of Neverland come to life with incredible energy through this classic story and score,” said Eagle Ridge Director Beverly Pruzina. “With a full cast of 95 and an eye-popping set and dramatic costumes, these terrific kids present a fun and unforgettable story. Don’t miss it!”

Peter Pan JR” is based on the play by J.M. Barrie and the 1953 Film. It is also based on the screenplay by Ted Sears, Erdman Penner, Bill Peet, Winston Hibler, Joe Rinaldi, Milt Banta, Ralph Wright, and William Cottrell. Eagle Ridge Middle School has permission and its license from Music Theatre International (MTI) to present the production.


All ticket proceeds go to supporting the school’s Drama Club.
