Employers To Seek Workers at Hospitality & Food Service Career Fair

The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center invites job seekers to “be our guest” at the Hospitality & Food Service Career Fair scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 12. The event will take place on the second floor of the Shenandoah Building, 102 Heritage Way NE, in Leesburg.

Featured employers include: B.F. Saul Company, Blackfinn Ameripub, Lansdowne Resort, Salamander Hotels & Resorts, Wegmans, Whole Foods, Guest Services and Ashby Ponds. These employers are recruiting for management positions including finance director, restaurant manager and catering sales manager, as well as non-management positions such as housekeepers, servers, cooks, bartenders, team members, cashiers and more.

Labor experts predict that hospitality and food service careers will enjoy strong growth in Loudoun County and the rest of Northern Virginia over the next decade.

Prior to attending the Career Fair, job seekers are encouraged to stop by the Workforce Resource Center for a resume critique session and a Career Fair Tips handout. The center is at 102 Heritage Way NE (1st floor, rear entrance), in Leesburg and is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
