LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Drivers can expect an increased focus on impaired driving in Loudoun County this weekend as deputies join a nationwide enforcement effort aimed at keeping intoxicated drivers off the road.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office will participate in Saturation Saturday, an annual initiative organized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, or MADD, with law enforcement agencies across Virginia and the country.
The campaign focuses on preventing impaired-driving crashes through increased law enforcement visibility and enforcement.

The sheriff's office is urging anyone who plans to drink Saturday to arrange a safe way home before heading out.
Options include using a rideshare service or public transportation, choosing a sober designated driver or staying overnight rather than driving.
