Family Safe, Cat Rescued After 2-Alarm House Fire In Loudoun County
Firefighters are caring for the kitty, they said.
ROUND HILL, VA – All residents, including the family cat, are safe after a major house fire in Round Hill on Thursday.
Loudoun County's Combined Fire and Rescue System reports that it responded to a two-alarm fire on the 17100 block of Creekside Green Place in Round Hill at around 1 p.m., where they found fire through the roof of a single-family home.
By 1:45 p.m., firefighters reported that the fire was under control.

All the human occupants of the home had made it out of the house before firefighters arrived, the fire and rescue system said. Firefighters rescued the family cat and are caring for it.
Social media users reported being able to see the column of smoke from the fire from miles away.
