STERLING, VA — A man is being held without bond after barging into a hotel room and then assaulting one of the occupants after being pushed outside in the 46000 block of McClellan Way, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Jonathan V. Kimble, 31, of Sterling, was charged with burglary and assault and battery.

Sunday afternoon, the victim said he and his family were staying at the hotel, where Kimble knocked on the door and then inexplicably began banging on it. The man opened the door slightly before Kimble forced his way inside and, following a brief struggle, was shoved out of the room and fled.
