Felon Arrested On Drug And Gun Charges In Sterling: Police
A man is being held without bond after being arrested Wednesday on myriad drug and gun charges following a three-month investigation: LCSO.

STERLING, VA — A man is being held without bond after being arrested Wednesday on myriad drug and gun charges following a three-month investigation, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Lavonte L. Masunda, 32, was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm, four counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of cocaine.
Using a warrant to search Masunda's residence in the 46900 block of Shady Point Square, police found a quarter pound of pot, 3.5 grams of cocaine, $17,415 in cash and two handguns, one of which was stolen from another jurisdiction. Shortly before searching the home, police arrested Masunda during a traffic stop in the area of Church Road and Cascades Parkway.
