Fishing Photo Contest Prizes Awarded

The focus and determination that helped Colt Hancock win the first ever was evident when John Ronay of Blue Moon Construction and yours truly handed him his grand prize winnings – consisting of a new Spiderman fishing pole, tackle box, sunglasses, lures, and a Patch t-shirt – recently in Brambleton.

"I wanna go fishing," was his immediate reply as he excitedly examined his new gear.

While it was too close to bedtime for Colt to get out that night, his parents promised to take him out on the water soon so he could keep honing those skills that helped him land a  

Also receiving awards were runner-up Skai Ronis of Lansdowne, who enjoyed his first ever fishing trip during the Patch contest, and is officially "hooked" for life. Skai also received a Patch T-shirt and totally awesome Spiderman fishing gear.

Last but not least, second runners-up Estele and Wyatt Griffin will soon be able to pair their cool floppy fishing hats with the ever-stylish Patch T-shirts and Sponge Bob Square Pants fishing rods (we are still trying to coordinate prize delivery to the Griffin family).
