Free Roof For Holiday Giveaway Open To NoVA Residents, Nonprofits
Northern Virginia's DryHome Roofing and Siding is accepting nominations for its Free Roof for the Holidays for a person or nonprofit.

VIRGINIA — A Northern Virginia roofing company has made it a tradition to give away a free roof to a resident or nonprofit in need during the holiday season.
Sterling-based DryHome Roofing and Siding is hosting its 23rd annual Free Roof for the Holidays program. Nominations are being accepted for a person, family or nonprofit deserving of a free roof. The company will choose the winner based on nominations from the community.
Nominations are open until Nov. 30. The winner will be announced in early December.

Since the Free Roof for the Holidays program began, DruHome Roofing and Siding has donated 22 roofs worth more than $200,000 to people and nonprofits in Northern Virginia.
Last year's recipient was Asma Messaoudi, a single mother of four who has a disability and is a Loudoun Habitat for Humanity client.

Other past recipients have been the mental health nonprofit Pathway Homes, an Ashburn man battling cancer, a Navy veteran who founded an animal therapy nonprofit, a Stafford mother of three who lost her husband, a Vienna mother who was struggling after a divorce, a Leesburg widow and mother of two young children, homelessness nonprofit Cornerstones, Doorways for Women and Families’ Safehouse, a Loudoun school bus driver, Good Shepherd Alliance, Falls Church Cub Scout House, and Gabriel Homes.
To nominate a person, family or nonprofit, visit www.dryhome.com and click on the nomination form. Nominations are also accepted by emailing DryHome at info@dryhome.com.
Nominators should provide their name and phone number as well as the nominee’s name, address, phone and reason for being nominated.
