The robbery occurred around 10:41 p.m. on Friday on Southbank Street in Sterling, police said. While a group of children were eating inside the restaurant, another group of children entered armed with water guns. The second group began shooting the water guns at the victims and demanded their French fries, according to the police report.

The victims handed over their fries, but the water-based attack continued, the sheriff's office said. The children sought refuge in a bathroom and called police.
