Geico Is Coming to Ashburn (ICYMI)

Geico, the insurance company, plans to move a training center to a building in the Ashbrook Business Park in Ashburn, according to a media report.

The Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday that a construction company has broken ground on the 33,000-square-foot, single-story building. Geico will use it to train claims adjusters, with classrooms and labs that provide hands-on experience with accident vehicles.

To win approval for the project, Geico and the developer used Loudoun County’s Fast Track for Priority Commercial Development program, which streamlines the development process, the Business Journal reported.
