Girl Assaulted Walking Home From School In Sterling: Police

Police are looking for an unknown man who who sexually assaulted a girl walking home from school Wednesday near Wrightwood Place: LCSO.

STERLING, VA — Police are looking for an unknown man who who sexually assaulted a girl walking home from school Wednesday near Wrightwood Place, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He's described as 25-30 years old, around 5-5 and with a thin build. He was wearing shorts with black tights underneath, a black jacket and a hat.

Shortly after 4 p.m., the girl told police she was walking on a path when she saw a man who appeared to be jogging. He then grabbed her and touched her inappropriately. She screamed and he fled. Police, with the help of a K-9 unit, searched the area to no avail. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-1021.
