'Heronfest' Saturday in Loudoun County
The Kincora development is staging its annual "Heronfest" Saturday in Loudoun County. Be on the lookout for Great Blue Herons. Live music.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Behold the Great Blue Heron. Behold Earth Day. Behold, um, you know, outdoorsy stuff. And so it shall happen 1-5 p.m. Saturday in the Kincora housing development in the area of Kincora Drive and Pacific Boulevard. Behold Heronfest.
Guests will be greeted with cool views of herons and their nesting activity, and the birds pretty much will be oblivious to the gaping onlookers. There also will be live music, refreshments and STEM learning activities in the event that plants its flag on Earth Day.
