High-Speed Chase Ends With Arrest In Ashburn

A man is being held without bond after leading police on a high-speed chase shortly before midnight Monday in Ashburn: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — A man is being held without bond after leading police on a high-speed chase shortly before midnight Monday in the area of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Cheltenham Circle, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Rilwan Tuwan, 25, of Fall Church, was charged with felony eluding, speeding, disregarding a red light and unapproved lighting equipment.

Around 11:55 p.m., a deputy saw a vehicle speeding on Route 7 near the area of Ashburn Village Boulevard. The cop hit the lights and tried to pull the suspect over but he ignored that and kept on going. He finally stopped in the aforementioned area and was arrested without incident.
