The opening event will be followed by an evening gala beginning at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by native Irish tenor Mark Forrest and his wife Muriel, the night promises elegance and revelry with a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, Irish dancing and live Irish music. The gala will be held at Wheatland Farm’s recently restored Great Barn (circa 1800), and will offer guests the opportunity to explore both the old and new at the historic farm.
Wheatland Farm provides therapeutic riding and traditional riding lessons, an adaptive hair salon, a wheelchair lending and repair program, and support and outreach to children with disabilities throughout Loudoun County and the Washington Metro area. The farm serves more than 300 families annually.
