Join Liz Whiting, President of the Loudoun Museum, who will explore several recurring topics in Loudoun County history: the east-west cultural and political divisions, slow growth vs. pro-development factional differences, the land-owning vs. land working class divisions, with an examination as to how Margaret Mercer bucked trends prevailing in her era. Liz also will give an overview of the history of the Loudoun Museum and the treasures in its collection.
