Hit-And-Run Driver Takes Out Football Player In Sterling: Police
A Park View High School football player absorbed a vicious hit Wednesday afternoon only partly related to his duties for the Patriots.

STERLING, VA—A Park View High School football player absorbed a vicious hit Wednesday afternoon only partly related to his duties for the Patriots. Namely, while riding his bicycle to practice in the area of North Sterling Boulevard and East Beech Road, he was hit from behind by a car, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
He fell off his bike and wound up with minor injuries before continuing his trip to practice, where he informed his coach of the incident. The car, which fled the scene, is described as a 1990s gray Ford Mustang. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
