Howard Elected President of Virginia Chamber Executives

The Loudoun Chamber head was chosen among the state's chamber leaders.

Tony Howard, president and CEO of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, recently was elected to serve as the next President of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Howard—who succeeds Vicki Gardner, Executive Director of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, as the volunteer leader—was installed as president during the organization’s Annual Meeting in Smith Mountain Lake in June.

Howard will preside over meetings of the VACCE Board of Directors meetings, develop organization programming for the next year, and oversee the communications, strategic planning and other initiatives.
