Leesburg Man Killed In Ashburn Crash: Police

ASHBURN, VA—A Leesburn man was killed Monday morning when his car crashed into a tree in the area of Smith Road and Hastings Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Police believe the man likely suffered a medial emergency, such as a heart attack, before the crash.

Around 8 a.m., police arrived at the scene for a report of a single-vehicle crash involving a 2007 Ford Taurus. The driver was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
