Local Dancer Receives Appointment to JMU Dukettes

Lauren Eisele is among JMU Dukettes' newest

Creative Dance Center is proud to announce that Lauren Eisele has been appointed to the James Madison University Dukettes for their 2014-2015 season. When not performing on the sidelines of JMU Home Football, Basketball, and with the Marching Royal Dukes or at various local, national, international, and university events, Lauren will pursue a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

Lauren, originally hailing from Ashburn, VA, competed and performed for 9 years with the CDC Competition Team where her energetic, beautiful presence and highly skilled technical abilities help the team earn several regional, national, and world championships in groups and productions as well as achieving merit as a Top 10 Ten Soloist.

Lauren began dancing competitively with CDC in 2005, where her love for working with children began. She began as a dance teacher assistant in middle school and then progressed to student teacher while in high school, working with both studio and Competition Team classes.

Lauren will join former current JMU Dukettes and Creative Dance Center Competition Team Alumni, Devan Weismiller and Abagail Pierro. Devan, former South Riding resident and team member for 10 years, is pursuing a Psychology and Statistics coursework. Abagail, a 13-year team member from Sterling, is pursuing Business.
