Loudoun Co. Voted Best in U.S. By Movoto

The real estate website Movoto recently conducted a study to find “The 10 Best Counties in America”. Not surprisingly, our very own Loudoun County, Virginia ranked first on the list!

Movoto integrated many factors to determine a county’s ranking on this coveted list. Levels of unemployment rates, median household incomes, median rents, median home prices, percentage of families below the poverty line and the high school graduation rate were all considered. These numbers were averaged and calculated into a main score, called the Big Deal Score, and used to find the best counties in the nation.

Loudoun County had one of the lowest unemployment rates on the list and one of the highest high school graduation rates. Home prices and median rents suggest that this area is a desirable one to live in, showing that locals are likely to be “comfortable financially and career-wise.”
