Loudoun County Offers Free Drive-Thru COVID-19 Tests In Sterling
Nasal swab COVID-19 tests, which will be offered Jan. 27, are open to anyone and residents do not need to show symptoms to be tested.
STERLING, VA — Local residents who are interested in receiving a free coronavirus test will have access to another drive-thru opportunity later this month in Sterling.
Loudoun County officials announced on Wednesday that the county will be offering free COVID-19 testing to anyone who desires a test from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Claude Moore Park, which is located at 21544 Old Vestal’s Gap Rd. in Sterling.
There are no age or residency requirements for the testing and no prescriptions or appointments are necessary. County officials said that a person does not need to be exhibiting symptoms of the coronavirus to be tested. A PCR test (naval swab) will be administered at the site but officials said that no antibody or rapid testing will be offered. County officials also announced that no COVID-19 vaccines will be available at this event.

To help reduce wait times, those interested in receiving a test are encouraged to fill out a registration form in advance. The registration form is required for the testing and asks for general demographic information and contact information including the person’s name, date of birth, address, phone number and any symptoms one may be experiencing. The registration form is available in English or Spanish.
