Loudoun County Police Seek Info On Home Burglary Suspect

STERLING, VA — Loudoun County police are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect who, along with two others, allegedly burglarized a Sterling home this past March. Brayan O. Monge-Ramos, 20, initially was located Aug. 22 near Silver Pond Square in Sterling but fled on foot, managing to evade capture by police.

Monge-Ramos is wanted in connection with a home burglary that took place March 25 at a home on Esterbrook Circle in Sterling. Monge-Ramos and the other suspects fled when the homeowners returned, police said, and Monge-Ramos pushed one of the residents as he ran from the house.

After receiving a tip that he may be in the Silver Pond Square area of Sterling, police located Monge-Ramos, but he fled. Deputies quickly established a perimeter and conducted a search using K9 units, a police helicopter, a drone, additional patrol and other measures; however, police did not locate Monge-Ramos.

Monge-Ramos is facing charges of burglary, grand larceny and simple assault. He has ties to Sterling, Fairfax County and Richmond, Va., and has outstanding warrants in multiple jurisdictions outside of Loudoun County.

Monge-Ramos is described as a Hispanic male approximately five-feet five-inches to five-feet seven-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and is known to change the color of his hair. His natural hair color is brown, though his last known hairstyle included light purple/blue highlights.
