Loudoun County Public Schools Makes Wednesday Weather Call

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—Because of the spring snowstorm that's expected to slam the area Tuesday night and continue through most of Wednesday, Loudoun County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, March. 21. All activities are cancelled and all administrative offices will be closed.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning that includes the D.C. area and Northern Virginia, and it's calling for big snowfall totals.

"Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected," the warning states. The warning lasts from 2 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
