Loudoun County Schools Make Weather Decision For Monday, Jan. 3
Officials with Loudoun County Public Schools said Monday's schedule was adjusted due to expected inclement weather.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County schools will not open on Monday, Jan. 3, officials announced on Sunday evening. Many areas in the region are under a Winter Storm Warning on Monday.
Loudoun County School officials originally announced the decision as a two hour delay, but said that due to "weather uncertainty," the delay could change to a closure.

Loudoun County is currently under a winter weather advisory in the western part of the county and a winter storm warning in the eastern part of the county from 1 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday. Weather officials noted that residents can expect total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
