Loudoun County is offering a trash drop-off event for residents who were affected by the closure of the Haulin' Trash company.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County is hosting a trash-drop off event for residents affected by the closure of the Haulin' Trash service. The event will be held on Saturday at Park View High School in Sterling.

"While Loudoun County has offered emergency relief for residents who are impacted by the abrupt closure of Haulin’ Trash, the county does not provide trash hauling services," county officials said in a news release. "Residents and homeowner associations are responsible for procuring curbside trash hauling services."
Residents who have not found a new curbside trash service are still able to take trash to the landfill on their own. The landfill is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
