Loudoun's Women Hall Of Fame Announces Inaugural Nominees

A local organization has announced the 25 finalists for the inaugural class of the Loudoun's Women Hall of Fame.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — This week, the Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) announced the 25 finalists for the inaugural class of the Loudoun's Women Hall of Fame.

Some of the finalists will be officially inducted during an award luncheon on May 18.

"By establishing the Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame, LCWAG ensures that women’s legacies and achievements will be forever immortalized inspiring generations to come,” LCWAG chair Ferri Riar said in a news release.

The coalition noted that each of the finalists opened new frontiers, made contributions to their fields, and elevated the status of women.
