LSCO Reveals Vehicles Involved In Fatal Ashburn Crash

ASHBURN, VA – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a fatal crash in Ashburn early Tuesday morning was the result of a car hitting an electric standing scooter.

The sheriff’s office says deputies responding to Loudoun County Parkway between Waxpool Road and Uunet Drive just after midnight found an adult man lying in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say the man riding the scooter was struck by a 2026 Acura sedan. They say the sedan driver stayed on the scene and that their investigation is ongoing.
