Luxury Apartment Community Breaks Ground Near Ashburn Metro

A new luxury apartment complex is being constructed close to the Ashburn Metro, which has spurred more development.

ASHBURN, VA — More development continues to be planned near the Ashburn Metro station that opened on the Silver Line extension in November 2022.

Multifamily developer Aventon Companies announced the groundbreaking of Aventon Moorefield, a 425-unit, six-story apartment building at 43601 Charitable Street, Ashburn, VA. The apartment community is expected to be ready for leasing in early 2026.

"Loudoun County continues to grow rapidly. Fueled by the expansion of major tech companies, Loudoun is one of the fastest recovering post-COVID economies in the country," said Mark Coletta, the senior managing director for Aventon Companies. "We are thrilled to be able to provide much-needed housing for its exploding population."

The apartments at Aventon Moorefield will range from studios to three bedrooms. Community amenities will include remote workspaces, clubroom and lounge, 24/7 fitness center, pet spa, pool, garden courtyard and secure parking garage with 16 electric vehicle charging stations.

Aventon Companies has two other projects in Virginia — Aventon Huntington Station and a future Richmond community.
