Sterling Pickup Truck Crash Leaves 1 Dead On Sunday Night: Police

Authorities are still investigating what caused a crash that killed a 20-year-old man on Sunday night in Sterling.

STERLING, VA — A 20-year-old man died on Sunday night in Sterling after his truck ran off the road, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities identified the man as Jose Ramon Garcia, a Sterling resident. No other injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash.

The sheriff's office said the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday in the 300 block of N. Lincoln Avenue in Sterling. Investigators said Garcia was driving a 2015 Toyota Tacoma when he hit a parked car. The truck then ran off the road and ended up in a ditch, authorities said.

First responders took Garcia to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.
