Man Arrested In Loudoun County After Trying To Record Child In Bathroom Stall: Police
A man from Texas was arrested in Ashburn and accused of filming several people, including a child, in bathroom stalls.

ASHBURN, VA — A man from Texas was caught filming a child in an Ashburn bathroom stall earlier this month, authorities said. Investigators believed the man filmed at least eight different people in bathroom stalls.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 32-year-old William O'Brien of Dallas, Texas. He is charged with seven counts of unlawful filming and one felony count of attempted unlawful filming of a minor.
O'Brien was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $15,000 bond. If convicted of all charges, O'Brien could face up to 12 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.

On May 14, deputies were called to the Sense of Thai St restaurant on Exchange Street in Ashburn. A caller reported a man had tried to record a child in a bathroom stall, according to the police report.
"Deputies were able to locate the male, and upon examination of his cell phone, discovered multiple videos appearing to be of different individuals unknowingly being recorded in bathroom stalls," the sheriff's office said in a news release.
