Mid-Atlantic Song Contest winners @ Amphora (Herndon) March 22
Concert Series present Gold/Silver Award winners

The Songwriters Association of Washington (SAW) in collaboration with the Folk Club of Reston-Herndon, present in concert two winners of the 31st Mid-Atlantic Song Contest (MASC): Letitia VanSant (Gold Winner in the Folk category) and Woody Lissauer (Silver Winner in the Instrumental category), Tuesday March 22nd, 7:15 pm at the Amphora Diner Deluxe, 1151 Elden Street in Herndon.
Letitia VanSant is a singer, songwriter and storyteller from Baltimore known for her distinct voice and warm honest stage presence. Whether she is accompanying herself on the banjo, ukulele or guitar, VanSant's sound draws from many of the nooks and crannies of Americana - from traditional old time music to indie folk. Her lyrics are informed by a long-standing interest in social justice and explore spiritual questions about human nature and society.

Woody Lissauer, also from Baltimore, is a remarkable performer and composer. The Editor in Chief of Round Magazine wrote of Woody, "I have always held a special liking for musicians who work outside the box. Woody Lissauer is one of those individuals who holds a special place...his art is touching and highly emotional...Woody boasts a broad vocal range and guitar mastery that few other musicians are capable of achieving."
