Missing 12-Year-Old Girl From Sterling Sought By Police

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen on Tuesday.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A 12-year-old girl from Sterling is missing. Now, police are asking for the public's help finding Karen Orellana.

Police said Orellana left her home on Carriage Court in the Mirror Ridge community on Tuesday night. She left of her own accord, the sheriff's office said.

Authorities described her as being 4 feet, 5 inches tall, 100 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and was carrying a green backpack.
