Multiple Vehicles Shot In Sterling On Tuesday Night: Police

STERLING, VA — Someone fired a gun at multiple cars in Sterling on Tuesday night, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported, and authorities are still looking for a suspect.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday on Davis Drive. The incident wasn't reported to police until 9 p.m.

A victim told police that he and a friend were in a parking lot along Davis Drive when they heard gunshots. They then saw an unknown person approach their vehicle, authorities said.

The driver began to speed away as the unknown person fired several shots at the vehicle, according to police. The victim's vehicle and two other parked vehicles were shot during the incident.

The suspect is described as being 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing about 225 pounds. At the time of the shooting, they were wearing all black clothing with a black facemask.

Authorities are still investigating to determine what circumstances could have led to the shooting.
