Happy Feet/Legends Opens Soccer Facility in Ashburn

The indoor soccer program offers winters programs and targets early learners up to travel leagues.

As winter rapidly approaches, the idea of months of indoor-focused living to escape the cold may actually cause parents to have a hot sweat.

If so, let warm your heart – and fill your calendar. The company is expanding its program and recently opened a fun new soccer Learning Center, located across from the George Washington University Campus, 44933 George Washington Boulevard, in Ashburn.

The new facility offers 2,000-square-feet of space, including two soccer rooms designed for the Happy Feet program, which includes 3- to 5-year-olds and small group practices for 5- to 9-year-olds.

The facility stands out from the other indoor soccer facilities in our area, such as the Dulles Sports Plex and the nZone in Chantilly because it looks “more like a Little Gym, as it is geared toward the Happy Feet Program”, said Matt Leiva, owner and president of Happy Feet Inc.’s Legends Soccer Club.

The building is also the new home for the Happy Feet/Legends office. Leiva is offering a variety of classes throughout the week, including morning weekday classes for 2- to 5-year-olds and Saturday morning soccer programs, with an additional Legends’ winter program for travel soccer, gearted for ages 6 to 9. Each program runs for nine weeks and meets once a week for 35 minutes.
