New Logo, Branding Announced For Loudoun County School System
Loudoun County Public Schools officials unveiled a new logo and branding at Tuesday's school board meeting.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County school system has adopted a new logo and branding. School officials unveiled its new logo, colors, and themes at the school board meeting on Tuesday night.
In a news release, school officials said the new logo "reveals the LCPS commitment to 'Engage. Empower. Enrich.' and puts the Division’s initials front and center."
Previously, the school system used the Loudoun County seal as its logo in official documents.

The new logo has four colors which each represent a facet of the school divisions goals.
"Vibrant red" references the color of the Loudoun seal and "embodies excellence and innovation," according to school officials. "Apricot," in the top right of the logo, represents diversity.

"Airy blue exemplifies the LCPS commitment to trust-building and all six value," LCPS said in a news release. "Purple navy balances a sense of creativity grounded in agility and opportunity."
The school system started the rebranding process in 2022 through discussions with students, staff members, community members, and an outside agency.
"I know this has been a long process for our community and I wish to thank the staff, students and community partners for participating in this rebranding process," Superintendent Aaron Spence said. "Your ideas and feedback were essential and led to a new Division logo that represents and unifies our community and embodies our work to engage, empower and enrich our students and community through education.”
The new logo will start appearing online this month. It will continue to roll out during "regular replacement cycles" for physical uses on buildings and in signs, the school system said.
