New Sterling Library Is Taking Shape
Officials will present plans for facility at community meeting on Thursday.

The Loudoun County Public Library invites the public to a community meeting on Thursday to provide input and learn more about the development of the new Sterling Library. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the current Sterling Library, at 120 Enterprise St. in Sterling. Child care and refreshments will be provided.
Residents will hear about the design process for an expanded library facility, which will be located in the Sterling Plaza Shopping Center on Sterling Boulevard. Community feedback is important and attendance at the meeting is encouraged.

“Broad-based community input and ideas are essential to making the project a success,” said Chang Liu, director of the Loudoun County Public Library.
The Sterling Library has been a vital part of the community for nearly 50 years. The current 6,000-square-foot library facility, co-located with the Sterling Community Center, has been in operation since the mid-1970s. The new library will have 14,500 square feet.
