NJ Man Records Sex Acts With Ashburn Area Juvenile: LCSO
A Jersey man who traveled to the area and recorded sex acts with a Loudoun County juvenile he met through social media was arrested: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA—A New Jersey man who traveled to the area and recorded sex acts with a Loudoun County juvenile he met through social media was arrested late last month, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Matthew J. Essen, 20, of Marlboro, NJ, was charged with two counts of carnal knowledge, two counts of production of child pornography, indecent liberties with a child and online solicitation of a minor.
Police say Essen met the victim through the Kik Messenger app and traveled to the Ashburn area on May 20, after which the victim was sexually assaulted, with some of the acts recorded. The victim told someone about the incident the next day.
Essen is being held in New Jersey pending an extradition hearing.
