"Deputies approached the vehicle and viewed suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle," the sheriff's office said in a report. "The driver of the vehicle regained consciousness and put the vehicle in drive, nearly striking two deputies."
Deputies chased the vehicle as the driver continued onto Shaw Road and Sterling Boulevard. He eventually started driving on the wrong side of Sterling Boulevard and crashed into multiple vehicles, the sheriff's office said. The driver was then taken into custody.
