Gun Owner Threatens ABC Employee in Sterling
An man disregarded rules about guns in ABC liquor stores and then pointed his gun at a worker in a pique: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA — Virginia Gov. Terry McAullife issued an executive order in late December 2015 prohibiting guns in agencies controlled by the state, and that includes ABC stores, where hard liquor is sold. It was a move that angered many pro-gun advocates, and one of them may have been at an ABC store Saturday night in the 46000 block of Cedar Lake Plaza, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
About 15 minutes before 9 p.m., a man entered the store while carrying a firearm in a holster on his hip. An employee told him that's against the law, and he became agitated. So he took his gun out of the holster and put it on the ground just outside the door and began to shop.

That's when the employee again asked the man to leave the store. The man didn't like that but he did leave. Thing is, he then picked up his gun and pointed it at the employee before leaving. He's described as white, 40-50, 170 pounds with blue jeans, a black leather jacket with several patches, a bandanna and tan boots. Anyone with information is urged to call 703-777-1021.
