Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint In Ashburn: Police

ASHBURN, VA — A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in Ashburn on Friday evening, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Two suspects are still at large, police said.

The robbery occurred just after 11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28. The victim told police that he was delivering a pizza in the 44200 block of Huron Terrace in Ashburn.

Before he could complete the delivery, two unknown men approached the driver. The victim believed that one of the men displayed a firearm, according to the police report.

Three other men attempted to steal the victim's car, though they were unsuccessful, police said. The suspects then fled the area in an older model black Dodge Charger.

The men stole the victim's cell phone and the delivery items during the robbery, authorities said. The suspects were described as males who wearing face masks and dark clothing.
