Police: Arrest in Abduction of Woman and 2-Year-Old Child

Suspect was apprehended in Ohio, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect in an abduction Sunday was located in Ohio and now faces extradition, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Henry S. Jovel-Ayala, 22, of Sterling, was taken into custody without incident by the Ohio State Police and remains held on a fugitive of justice warrant in Ohio.

Officers responded at 6 p.m. Sunday to the 100 block of Sherwood Court regarding an abduction.

The victims were described as a woman and her 2-year-old child who had been taken against their will be Jovel-Ayala, the woman’s estranged boyfriend.

The three were located in Ohio. The two victims were found unharmed.
