Police: Driver At Large After Road Rage Incident

Vehicles struck each other on Route 7, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a road rage incident on Wednesday night in the vicinity of Route 7 and Route 28 in Sterling.

Deputies responded to the scene at 7:48 p.m., according to a police report. A motorist told them that another vehicle was driving recklessly in the area and cut off the complainant, causing the vehicles to strike each other.

The two drivers stopped in the area of Route 7, when the suspect driver exited his vehicle and confronted the complainant before leaving the scene. The second driver was identified, the sheriff’s office said, but no other details were available.
